Enterprise Vault basic disks as SMB

can we assign SMB disks from shared storage for EV serves "Cache,MSMQ,..etc" instead of ISCSI disks

  • Hello

As long as you see the disks in the OS, EV can access them. It is the OS that handles writing/reading/deleting. Cache/MSMQ etc should be on a locally attached disk, so if you can give the disk a driveletter, you should be fine. You can also mount the disk(s) in an empty folder, and point the EV cache location (and/or OS MSMQ location) to there, works also.
