Enterprise Vault PST Export job [Very Important]

I stuck in trouble that all of exporting PST job was failed.

all of exporting jobs Repeatdly failed. ㅠ.ㅠ

 

So, Question is

1. How many jobs can run at one time?

my server : HP DL380 G7, 24GB memory,

                windows server 2008 r2,   Enterprise Vault 10.0.4 version

 

2. How many items can run at one time?

10,000?

20,000?

30,000? 

100,000?

200,000?  

over???

 

Our enviroment great portion of people  have over 100,000 items and so big mail box.

 

Our EV PST migration project term is very short.

But our mail data is so big (over 19TB)

 I must export PST data until 8/30. 

 

please give to me wise answere for my question~~~~~

    The number of exports depends on the number of processors and amount of memory.  It is very much dependent on your environment.

    I see from your other post you are actually trying to migrate from one EV site to another.  You should look at a third party software like Archive Shuttle.  It was built exactly for this purpose.   Feel free to PM me your information and I can assist you with finding a Partner to help you.

    with that timeline and that big of an environment your best bet would be to immediately look into a migration tool. i dont see it happening in that timeline with 19TB of data any other way.

    Hi,

    When you said "all of exporting jobs Repeatdly failed", what is the error message? Have you reviewed the PST export reports? If all the PST Export jobs are failing, you might have a storage issue. If that's the case, you need to fix that issue before exporting the archived data to PST.

    I agree that you need a migration tool to do this much data.  Symantec commissioned Vault Solutions to build such an application (they had a large customer that needed to do this, and the built in tools were not adequate.)

    Please check out "Archive Accelerator Export", which exports data via a multi-threaded windows service.
