Enterprise Vaults 8 SP2 Cluster. I have to failover cluster every few days to be able to open archives

I'm running EV SP2 on Windows 2003 ENT SP2 in a two node cluster.  I have to fail over my cluster every few days, so I can open archives again.  Once it fails over to the passive node I'm able to open files again.  I have to reboot the server experiencing the issue, so if it happens again I will be able to fail it back and be able to open archived files and archived emails.

  • So my first thing to look at when this is happening is what is going on with the S: drive, as it looks like the EV server is losing connectivity to it.
