Error Message - EV

We are using Low Cost Storage (LCS – Nexenta) for enterprise Vault 10.0.2 for Exchange. I could see the below error message on our servers in the Symantec Enterprise Vault. Any actions need to be taken?

  • The error is moslty caused by an Environmental issue . Is the error generated for the same DVS file or is it for multiple DVS ? It can be that some DVS files are missing from the storage location and user is trying to retrive them.

  • Is there any other error logged following the one you specified ..??

    If this error is occuring multiple times, If yes i would suggest to collect dtrace of archive task and storagearchive.

  • The Error might ocuur due to faulty connecion to the storage device. Check how often the error is generated if it had just occured once I guess you may Ignore it .
