EV - 10.0.2 Command Line Help

I have been thinking of some automation in Enterprise Vault 10.0.2 for Exchange. Do we have any command line utility/Power shell commands through which we can do the automations in EV 10.0.2?

  • There are quite a few command line tools that are in the Utilities Guide, and there are a couple of bespoke options on the Downloads section of this forum.

What sort of automation do you have in mind?

  • Hi SB,

There are some PS commands available in the Enterprise Vault server:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO57222 (set/clear backup mode in Vault Stores and Indexes)

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH138606 (assign Exchange Server permissions for the VSA)

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO83378 (Configuring the Exchange throttling policy on the VSA)

There have been some discussions on this forum about PS scripts using EV commands. For instance, this post discussed a PS script with the archive points app for FSA:

What exactly are you looking for?
