EV 10.0.3 Internet Explorer 10

Hi,

Can we install Internet Explorer 10 on EV server 10.0.3 (Win 2008 R2) itself? Is that supported?

Also IE 10 on client PC supported?

    Yes but with caveats.  On the EV Server it has this:

    Supported only in CompatibilityView.

    For the client:

    a. Supported only in CompatibilityView.

    b. Requires EnterpriseVault 10.0.3 or later service pack.

    c. Requires Windows 8.

    So for client Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 10 not supported? 

    What exactly is not supported?

    Have a look in the compatibility doc.  It would seem the only cavet for IE 9 is that it is supported only in Compatibility View but with any of the supported Windows clients.

    The fact it specifically says you need Windows 8 for IE 10 doesn't mean it it will not work but just that it isn't certified and if you are having issues with it you will not get a hotfix or what not.
