EV 9.02 and EMC Isilon

We are migrating some of our storage to an EMC Isilon and I see that EV 9 is not Technically supported on the compatibility chart but it is windows SMB and I would think it "Should" work. I do see that EV 10 is supported and we are moving in that direction but storage migration is priority right now as I would have to upgrade hardware to move to EV 10 currently.

I have tried to create a new partition on the Isilon share we have setup and I receive and access denied error in Eventvwr.

I Did have ACL Checked when attempting to create partition.
