EV Placeholder migration through backup and restore

Hi

I'm trying to understand if an EV placeholder migration is feasible between an EMC VNX array and an EMC Unity array by using a backup and restore operation with NetBackup.

I know that, for example, it wouldn't work between a Windows file server and a NetApp array as the format for the placeholders are different - however are the VNX and Unity arrays also too different to use a backup\restore of the placeholders as a viable migration option?
