EV10 + Vault 10 client + Outlook 2010 not working

Hi,

We just upgraded to Vault 10 and I was hoping this would cure our Outlook 2010 woes. Sadly nothing has changed.

I just installed Outlook 2010 on my PC. Then installed the one and only client that comes on the Vault instalation media (which I assume detects Outlook version and installs the apropriate client version). But when I open an archived e-mail, I get the tag and the "Please ensure that you have installed the latest version of the Enterprise Vault client software" error message.

How do I start to look at troubleshooting this please?

  • Outlook 2010 is supported by EV 9.0.1 and above.  There are few caveats noted in the compatibility doc.  I think he is talking about OL 2010 on the EV Server.

    Question for you, did you upgrade the EV versions or do an un-install of the old version and install the new?
