EV7.0SP3 - Is it possible to copy roles before editing?

Hello all,
 
Is it possible to copy the roles to keep the original ones in place?
There is (as far as I could quicly find) a way to export the content, or do a 'copy / paste' of a role
 
This to enable us to test the exact needed settings in our test-environment.
I did see they can be reset back to original values.

    I assume you are talking about the Authorization Manager.
    If you right click -> properties on the Top Item (EvAzStore.xml), you will find the Path to an XML File.
    I suspect, you could just copy this file and you will be all set.

    Haven't tried this myself yet.

    Your suggestion to copy the XML file works. I did not have time to actually file it, and then save it to the database, but I will do this later this week. Will report back.
