Event ID: 6564

Please help with the occurrence of this error in the Event Viewer-Enterprise Vault category.

Event ID : 6564

This error has multiple occurrence every day during the archiving of the journaling box.

Please let us know if there is anything that can be done to prevent this error from happening.

    Can you post the entire message you get in the app log? The text can vary a bit.

    All previous attempts to archive the item have failed or been interrupted. To prevent further failures the item will not be archived. It is probable that the item will remain as 'pending archive' in the user's mailbox.

    Anuradha,

    Can you see anything obvious with this message that would prevent the vault from importing it as a saveset. Look for complex attachments, fubar'd headers, anything that might give you a clue as to why it's biting the dust on it.

    You can alternatively change a setting in the advanced features of hte journal policy to mark the message as "bad" so it stops popping up error events and just gives up on it. But I wouldn't rush off and implement that just yet, especially if you're using journaling for compliance or discovery services.
