EVPM - Error 0x80040115 Creating privileged MAPI session

Hi

 

I'm trying to use EVPM to create a folder under each mailbox with certain retention categories.

I can do this fine with our Exchange2010 server. However when I run the same EVPM script on our Exchange2013 server I get:

Creating privileged MAPI session ...
Error (0x80040115) creating privileged MAPI session against Exchange Server EXCHANGE2013

I'm using the EVSystem Mailbox alias that is setup for the Exchange2013 Archiving task but even if I change the username to say vaultadmin I still get the same error. So I suspect it's not even connecting.

I'm a little confused as I don't know what else to try.

 

EV Server is 11.0.0.1351

    What are you using for the Exchange Server name..?  The name or the Fully Qualified Domain Name?

     

    Try the FQDN....

    Genius, worked a treat using the FQDN. Thanks!

     

    Just got to work out why it didn't apply the 'Personal' retention category to the folder.....
