Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task targeted passive DB

Hi everyone,

I have 2 exchange servers, server A has all DB mounted and server P hosting all passive copy. In enterprise vault "Exchange Mailbox Archive Task" for server P under target. there is single DB listed there. How do I "target" this to "Exchange Mailbox Archive Task" of server A?

I have done the following but it still remains at the target of server P

1) Run Exchange Provisioning Task

2) Run Archive Task

3) Index Administration Task

4) Then Exchange Mailbox Archive Task's Synchronization for server A and server P

    Hi,

    EV is getting this information from AD / Exchange when provisioning. Meaning that it shoud automatically be updated when provisioning task is running. My experience is, that this is working perfectly fine.

    You could dig into this in a geater detail by checking the exchangemailboxentry and exchangemailboxstore tables within the enterprisevaultdirectory database to check if an orphaned entry is linked to the database in question.
