exporting pst fail symtoms, event 6769, 6609

Valut Version : 10.0.4. 1189
EV mail data stored in NAS Storage.
And EV Application server use volume by CIFS connection.

 

We do PST migration from old EV to new EV(new domain).
Our EV mail data is so big.  It's about 20TB.

Our problem is PST export job stuck ing irregular fail repeatdly.

All of PST export job irregularly failed one by one in 20~30 minutes.

irregularly fail day and night occur.

 

windows event log notice me like below two event on each all of jobs.

 

1) eventID : 6769

Export Archive Report  
Export status: Incomplete

Processing aborted due to an unrecoverable error.  

Job Id: Exp3_20140717194759 
Archive name: 박인욱[Tom Park / Pan Ocean - PMX]

2) eventID : 6609

PST file access error occurred

Supplementary Info: Error: 0x80070003. PST file doesn't exist or is not accessible, please check whether the valid file is provided.

    It would seem that EV is losing access to the T: drive.

    The built-in tools simply weren't designed for the scale you are trying to use them for.

    If you are trying to migrate from EV domain to another and you have 20 TB of data you should look at a third party software like Archive Shuttle.  It was built exactly for this purpose.   Feel free to PM me your information and I can assist you with finding a Partner to help you.

    Can you verify that in the export you have a limit set for the size of the PST file, and if you have, can you lower it?

    I have seen above when setting the limit to 20480GB (i.e 20GB). When lowering this to 2048, I got 15 PST files correctly created.

    Verify the size of the resulting pst-files from your error (김충현_Export_0001.pst )

    (are the characters correct?)

    Thank for your answer.

    Limit the size of individual destination PST fils is 1500MB.  1.5GB

    all of exported PST file size are 1500MB.

    I would choose the other Outlook option.

    I also would contact Symantec Support, perhaps they have seen this before.

    hi winapp, i answered the same questions for you in your other post. you also got opinions from several of the other experts in this forum and we're all suggesting the same thing. you would greatly benefit from looking into a migration tool for this effort.
