GetOnlineAttachmentFileSize 0xC00420C8 when opening archived email in web browser

Hi all,

In our company we have two EV sites. I migrated user`s mailbox from Exch01 to Exch02 and user`s archive from Site A to Site B. I exported all the content from user`s archive in Site A, deleted account and provisioned user on Site B and then imported their archive to their new vault location.

A user in his Outlook now has two types of EV shortcuts. When he clicks on archived email and then clicks on "This message has been archived. View original item" he is still pointed to https://EV SITE A/... Is there any way to repoint ev shortcuts to Site B?

    What version of EV are you?  Apparently there was in issue in EV 8 sp 2

    After exporting an Enterprise Vault archive to a PST file and attempting to import that PST file to a new archive in Enterprise Vault 8.0 service pack 2, the Enterprise Vault shortcuts in the target mailbox are not updated and no longer function.

    Details:

    There is currently no known workaround to resolve this issue.

    Solution:
    This issue is currently resolved in the following release:

    Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP3

  • I dont think RestoreShortcutBody works on shortcuts belonging to a different EV site
