How do I delete archived files from FSA when there is no placeholder

Good Morning,

I have EV 10.0.4, and Windows 2008 R2 file servers. EV is archiving fine, but I need to be able to selectively delete files from the archive in two scenarios, and its not clear how to do it.

Note that our Policy is set so that when a user deletes a placeholder, this does NOT delete the file from the archive.

1) How do I delete files from an archive where there are no longer any placeholders for those files ?

2) How do I delete files from an archive when the placeholder does exist; but as stated, our policy is set not to delete the archived file when the placeholder is deleted ?

    Hello Jim,

     

    Have you tried Archive Explorer or Search in this case.
