I've have just downloaded the EV v11 installation files Symantec_Enterprise_Vault_11_0_0_Win_Multilingual.ISO so now I wonder which option allows me to safely install the EV management console only on Windows Server 2012 R2 ?
At the moment the EV v10 server is installed and running on separate VM.

As per the compatibility chart "The standalone Enterprise Vault Administration Console version must be the same as the Enterprise Vault server."
So if your EV version is 10 then you need to install EV10 Admin console.
To install admin console run setup.exe and then on the below screen place a checkmark only against "Administration Console"
Also check the OS compatibility

OK, so I'll find the latest EV v10 setup ISO.
So I guess the first three options is the one I require ?
yea just uncheck all the boxes (that you can) besides the admin console and basics and then dont run any config steps afterwards.
