Is Winpcap required on DCS server?

Just installed DCS and got a warning along the way about winpcap not being present.  Bypassed it and it installed fine.  Customer will be using DCS only with EV journaling. 

Is winpcap required on the DCS server?  It seems to me, since winpcap is for network monitoring, it would not be neded for DCS.  I don't see anything about it in the DCS install guide.  Thought I'd check.

    you're there's no mention of winpcap in the DCS Implementation guide. since it's based on DLP which has a network monitoring engine, there might be a check in the installer that doesnt apply when its only used for EV.
