Issue with archiving items in a user

Hey guys,

Pretty much the same issue as per the post here:

Basically what happens is the user goes to manually archive an item and it turns into the clock item temporarily and then turns back. 

Turning off cached mode on the mailbox results in a secondary item being created (which is identical to the first, but looks like a normal email item).  When the archiving task runs at the normal time, it reverts back to the single email and doesn't appear to archive.

There doesn't appear to be anything odd happening in teh application or system logs on the EV server itself.  User appears to have appropriate rights to do this, however it is worth noting that she is in a different domain from the EV server.  AFAIK there are no other users in this domain with this problem, so not entirely sure if that's relevant.

I am relatively inexperienced with this product but is there anything I can run at the client or server level that will get more info?

I don't think Archiving for this user has ever worked!  Our company has recently taken over this account so I am unsure of the exact history around this problem =/

Appreciate any help.  We are currently running Outlook 2003 with a 2003 Exchange backend running EV 7.5.

Wally, I think you can only do it on your original post (you have to edit it to add the attachment)..

Either way what I think you also need is a DTRACE at the same time as the client trace. DTRACE W3wp, and Archive Task.  What I think you'll see is that time stamps will differe.  You see when you're using the HTTP client the client marks the message as pending archiving, and adds a time stamp property (Called Action Time Stamp) and then it sends a HTTP request to the EV including the time stamp.  The server side agent then checks the folder that was sent in the request for items with a matching time stamp.  There were some issues around this fixed in something like EV 2007 SP 4, but I can see your client version is much older.
