Theoretical question.
I have 3 EV servers, each having 1 user vault store, with many partitions. If we move to an HCP, and I move the data to there, can I remove the storage attached to the EV-servers?
I assume that moving the data means that retrieving (where the cabfiles need to be extracted) will be done on the HCP device.
It will be a move, including updating SQL etc.
Most likely, we'll use a 3rd party migrator.

how are you going to transfer the vault store data to the HCP? the answer to your question might be a bit more complicated than a move an dupdating SQL since HCP is object storage.

I was leaning to Storage Migrator from QuadroTech, but might also be trying the form post you mentioned. It is still al long way ahead, but when the time arrives, I hope to be able to use a 3rd party tool that does the work.
