Need to split up public folder archive

Hi,

One of our customers has one large archive for all public folders which I need to split up. They are using Enterprise vault 9. Because the archive is getting to big and searching takes to long I created an archive for each public folder, new policies and so on. I'm now looking for a way to move archived email from the big archive to the new department archives. Is there a way to do this?

    i dont think EV has this capability built-in. you'd have to restore to Exchange and then rearchive unless you used a 3rd party migration tool which supports public folders to rearchitect everything.
