Rebuild Enterprise Vault & Discovery Accelerator server

 
Configuration
-------------
 
Server1 (EV 9 SP3) –   EV server containing the Directory and Journaling tasks 
Server2 (EV 9 SP3) –   Discovery Accelerator server 
Server3            -   SQL Server
 
 
 Server 1 & Server2 are not acessable now, please let me know if we can rebuild new servers (EV Server & Discovery Accelerator server)
 with new names and point to existing SQL server.
 
 Can you please let me know process and documents?

    I hope your partition/index data is intact from privious server and can be accessible from new EV server. For moving EV server to new server refer tech note below.
    "How to move Enterprise Vault to a new server" http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH55377

    you need to add index/partition disk in the same it was there in old EV server and follow the steps as mentioned in above tech note "Procedure for Renamed Servers".

    "How to move Compliance Accelerator (CA) or Discovery Accelerator (DA) to a new server"

    If you feel uncomfortable with above mentioned information then contact symantec/partner consultant.

    When you say 'not acessable' please elaborate. Physically not available? Server's are permanently offline but data still available?

    As Pradeep was eluding to if you have lost your vault store partitions you are not in a happy place

    Yes,  Servers are permanently offline but Vault store data still available

    I hope Indexes are also accessible, now you can follow/review the steps as outlined in above documents.
    if you feel above suggestion helped you then you may wish to mark it as solution.

    The indexes can be rebuilt, it will just take some time.  In the Administrators Guide for EV you should review the Data-only DR steps as well as the technotes above.
