Remote Desktop / Terminal Server - Offline Vault or Vault cache without Cached Exchange Mode in BackupExec 2010R3 Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option?
I've been unable so far to get the User's Vault in the Outlook Navigation Pane on the Remote Desktop Server (Windows Server 2008R2).
I would like to install and enable the User's Vault in the Outlook Navigation Pane on a Remote Desktop / Terminal Server, using the Backup Exec Outlook Add-In (BE\WinNT\Install\EVE\Outlook Add-In\Symantec Backup Exec Outlook Add-In.msi) and the BackupExec 2010R3 Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option.
On the Remote Desktop Server Cached Exchange Mode has been disabled bij Group Policy.
In EV on the Desktop Policy Advanced tab there seems to be a Vault Cache setting in the drop down, Offline Store required - No.
Offline store required - Description: Controls whether Vault Cache can be enabled when no offline store is present.

Is ther also a posibility to set the Offline Store required to No in the EV "lite" Exchange Mailbox Archiving Option?
Have you checked out this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH35595
You may want to create an Exchange Desktop Policy that doesn't make Vault Cache available and then create a Provisioning group and associate that Desktop Policy with the Provisioning Group. Then add the users that will be logging into to the Remote Desktop Servers to the Provisioning Group via an AD group.
