Hi Dave,
it's usually just deleting these one by one (at least the A and R ones as well as the "admin" ones with the same timestamp) based on their names but be careful with the other ones. There might be powershell cmdlets to do this but doing it manually is fine as well. Make sure that the archiving tasks in EV have already been deleted at this stage. At least I dont know of any other way.

Hello,
The safest way would be to restart your running tasks in report mode. Let them run until MSMQ's are empty. Let them run a little more, to verify nothing is coming in anymore. When they are (and stay empty), stop and disable the tasks.
Then stop EV services.
Delete the MSMq's. preferably only the A and J ones.(J = journaling). When deleted, start Admin and Directory service. Open EV console, delete the tasks you do not need anymore. when deleted. start other services. As soon as services are started, the MSMQs which are required will be recreated. When done, restart tasks in normal mode, verify msmq is moving items again.
