Removing audit database - possible?

Hello all,

We have an audit database on the SQL-server. Auditing is not used since a long time. It is disabled in The VAC.
Can the database be removed without any side-effects?

Auditing will not be used anymore.

EV7.5SP6
  • If auditing is no longer used and disabled in the VAC I see no reason why you cant remove the database.

I suggest that unless you get a better answer you can detach the database and restart the EV services and see what happens.

If you have a LAB test it there first but if not detaching it then restarting the services if there is an issue you can always reattach it again
  • Fairly sure it can be deleted, but suggest you take the steps that Liam suggested.
