Set password for migrated PSTs

Hi,

What should be the procedures to set password to PST migrated to Enterprise Vault 10??

I use client MS outlook 2010.

    First, I would question why private items were imported into a shared mailbox, doesn't the user have their own mailbox?

    Second, you could re-export the private items out and move them to the users private mailbox.

    Andrew suggest changing permissions but that assumes the other user will not have the rights to change those permissions.

    Yes checked out the above !! So do u have CBT Nuggets on PERMISSIONS ..JUST KIDDIN..

    After migrating they're just folders in Exchange.

     

    Can users set passwords on folders in Exchange?  No..

     

    Same applies then to these.

     

    However, they CAN change permissions.  But in the end if the folders are just in their mailbox, only they have access anyway.
