So are you talking about the EV Search page, the Compliance Accelerator client, or DA Client? Please specify the product and version.
either way, I do not think there is currently and way to do what you are asking and you would need to post something to the Ideas section.
Can you be a bit more specific what you are trying to do? What is your user scenario?

Just curious, what is the purpose of having a time out? Is there some sort of business problem you think this will solve?
