What file is he looking for? the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\DirectoryDatabaseUtils.sql" is in present

My enviroment ON HYPER-V

  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Enterprise Vault 10.0.0.4
  • Microsoft Sql 2008 R2
  • 2 Server (One with all service, the other only with Indexing Service)

My SQL is not in MIRROR.

  • so you applied the CHF3 to both servers?  I only ask because in the dtrace it seems that the EVINDEX server thinks it needs to upgrade the EV Database.

  • Did you install both servers at the same time? Did you see this in the log?  What happens if you shut down the other EV Server and restart this one?

EV~W    Event ID: 8570 The Directory Service is waiting for another Directory Service to complete an update of the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database, or waiting to get exclusive access to the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database. Please ensure no applications, for example SQL Enterprise Manager or SQL Query Analyzer, are accessing the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database.| |The EnterpriseVaultDirectory database is in multi user access mode.|The current EnterpriseVaultDirectory database connections are:|Computer Name : LEXLABEV1|Program Name : .Net SqlClient Data Provider|Login Name : LEXLAB\evservices|Connections

The server name is LEXLABEVIDX1 and the alias is EVINDEX
