Our system uses Enterprise Vault 11 for archiving Microsoft Exchange 2013 system. All functions of archiving system is ok.
When i insert a outlook item which is archived email, the shortcut of item is inserted, not the original of item.
Can i insert the original of archived item to attachment file?

By drag and drop? No. You can FORWARD a shortcut though and it'll be recalled.

If i Forward or Reply a shortcut, the original is used.
But i need when i drag and drop, or click Insert > Outlook Items > select shortcut, the original is recalled to attachment files.
Can i do this? If cannot (limited function of product), Do you have any white paper or topic of Symantec confirm that.

Hi Jinz,
When you try attach any archive mail it will only attach the shortcut content of that mail, to attach that mail you must restore whole item in Exchange mailbox and then follow normal procedure, there is no whilte paper I have found for the same, However you can reaise case with Symantec and get a confirmation.

So there is no way for attaching an archived email with full original without restore it.
