Hi all, I'm using Enterprise Vault search API. The "The Index Server could not access data from the directory" error message show up when I'm using search.SelectArchive(). I cannot find any useful information in the api document. Any clue would be great. Thanks.
Whats the version of EV and EV runtime?
I hope you do not have any issues with Indexing in general. I assume that Indexing service is running fine.
Is this a problem for remote machine executing your code or Did you try running it on EV Server itself, does it work there?
In case of version mis-match of API ruintime and EV binaries could also cause this behaviour.
Can you try following:
1. Remove the runtime
2. reboot the machine
3. Install only the vault admin console
