This item contains active content that cannot be displayed in the reading pane

Morning all, I have been asked the following question, and I'm not really sure where to start from an Ev troubleshooting perspective, if in fact this is even an Ev problem

I've an EV Add-In Outlook v. 11 that displays "This item contains active content that cannot be displayed in the reading pane. Open the item to read its contents" when previewing emails. When I open them they display just fine. I've reset the forms cache, but I'm stumped really as to what my next move should be?

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Performing a Google search seems to point at an issue with CDO/VBscript in the message.

    On that client machine, can you run resetevclient? That should be in the ..\program files\enterprise vault\client folder somewhere.

    That not only resets the cache, but also clears forms etc.
