Unable to reply/forward Stubbed emails in OWA 2010

Hi guys,

 

We have emails that are stubbed in Exchange Server 2010. When we open an email that has been stubbed by Enterprise Vault 10 in OWA, we see that the email has been stubbed but we are unable to reply, reply all or forward the email.

When we also view message details, the Internet Mail Headers is empty, we are able to categorise and mark the email, but just unable to reply, reply all or forward.

 

In Outlook client, it all works OK, but just not in OWA.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi Rob,

     

    Yes we have - escpecially when we go into out OWA, when we click on the 'about', we can see the "Symantec EV" info in the OWA too.

    Also on the left side pane, we can see "Archive Explorer" so it seems like the extensions are installed.

  • When we hit reply, the browser refreshes for like a millisec (really fast) but no change in appearance.

  • I think then, you'll need to configure logging and see why it's not properly handling this..

    What happens if you double click on an archived item?

    Is conversation view on, or off?

  • Conversation view is off.

    We can double click the archived message and it opens in a new window. It is in this window and in the reading pane that we cannot reply/forward etc.

  • And when you open the archived email are you seeing the proper item, or just the stub?
