Upgrading Exchange - How to handle EV

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade Exchange environment from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.

 

Currently have EV11 installed and operating.

 

I would like to know exactly how Enterprise Vault integrates into a new exchange environment and what the customer would require to do to set it up correctly.

    Are you just upgrading exchange or migrating? The main to make sure is to give the EVAdmin it's own mailbox and run the Permissions scripts and the Throttling scripts against the evadmin (if there isn't a mailbox for the evadmin it will fail) After that you would just target the exchange servers same you do with 2007, provision users the same as 2007 The only difference you'd really need to look at is the Office mail app that took over from OWA. You don't have extensions any more for OWA, instead you activate addins by specifying a URL
