Why shall we use Enterprise Vault as Archiving solution

Greetings Guys,

I need a document which explains the need/benifit of archive in terms of an Messaging setup. Also I would like to know why Symantec EV should be the preferable solution to be used in a large organization.

    I would recommend you reach out to Symantec sales or a partner so you can discuss your specific needs and requirements to see if EV is a good fit for you.

    As a large company using EV for mailbox archiving I could give a long list of reason, but I would better recommend that you look at the various case studies that have been published for justifying EVs value in mailbox archiving.

    1.  Storage savings (single instance storage)

    2.  more efficient use of Exchange servers

    3.  More functional user experience by having only the most recent items in the mailbox and older items not clogging up the mailbox/folders.

    4.  Access to archived data anywhere you have access to your email.

    5.  Real functional eDiscovery capabilities.

     

    to name just a few.
