Hi im wondering if i have a public folder on my exchange how will this be archived into the cloud
I don't believe EV.Cloud archives Public Folders. There isn't any mention of it in the docs or faq.
You could ping your sales rep to be sure.
There is no available tool with Enteprise Vault.cloud to facilitate archiving of public folders.
The workaround would be to create mail-enabled public folders and either:
1) forward messages to the mail-enabled public folders (thereby the messages would be journaled via SMTP), instead of simply "moving" the messages into a public folder
2) through the use of Enterprise Exchange CALs, you can place a journal rule on the public folder using Exchange 2007 Managed Folders or Exchange 2010/2013 MRM.
