PARTITION MAGIC FOR WINDOWS 7 64 bit

I'd like to know when Partition Magic will be available that will support Win 7 , 64 bit computers.
  • Partition magic is not supported in these forums. I searched the Norton community (http://community.norton.com/norton/) and found this post dated from 4/7/2008.

At this time, there are no plans to update Partition Magic. I apologize for the inconvenience; please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

  •  I couldn't get it to work on windows 7 either but then again I have a very old version. There is a "Windows XP mode" in windows 7 but it doesnt work with all computers. Mine is one of them.
  • Partition Magic is the only decent product Norton has ever put out (god knows it's not their bloated yet inept ani-virus LOL)! Why would they no longer support it????
  • Unfortunately, Partition Magic is no longer supported, see http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=products

  • What is instead Partition Magic?
I have heard that Gdisk will be redesigned to replace Partition Magic. I'm not sure that these rumors are true though. Gdisk has different capabilities.

  • I use Partition Manager by Easeus; I have no financial ties to the company. I find it is as functional as Partition Magic ever was. I had used Partition Magic since version 4.

Partition Manager supports Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit. The 32-bit version is free for "Home Users" (which is what I am).
