ProComm 4.8

A doctor at our facility uses ProComm 4.8 this is a Symantec product, though somewhat old, it is still for sale online.I called the help line today to get some information on the upgrade  for this product because he would like to buy a new computer. But this software is only listed to be supported by windows 95, 98, NT, And 2000 with a patch though he says it will work with xp but only with service pack 1.The phone rep said they could not help me, basically because their knowledge only consists of what they can read on their computer screen which I think is totally retarded, they should have to actually use the products to know what they will do and will not do. He likes this software because of the transparent signature transfer. Is there any way to make this software work with windows 7, as all of the newer computers come with that, or is my only option to make the computer a dual boot with windows XP, and if so is there a driver patch to make a newer system accept XP to utilize this software?

    That product came out over 10 years ago and is no longer supported (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=products) or sold by Symantec. There are a few Procomm product posts in the Norton Community, so you might try posting your issue there, as this forum is for Enterprise product support.
