SORT New Release Available at https://sort.veritas.com/
On Sept 5, 2016, SORT delivered a release with the following features and enhancements.
General:
- Product Feature comparison (https://sort.veritas.com/product_features ) enables the comparison among different products or versions and provides the capability to export as PDF for offline usage. The quick link is https://sort.veritas.com/feature_comparison/
- License Calculator (https://sort.veritas.com/license_calc ) integrated SPVU Calculator, InfoScale entitlement calculator, Server-Tier lookup into one Combined License Calculators page for easy access. The legacy URLs will be redirected to the new ones automatically.
- InfoScale Entitlement Calculator (https://sort.veritas.com/license_calc/infoscale_ecalc )
- Server Tier Lookup (https://sort.veritas.com/license_calc/server_tier )
- SPVU Calculator (https://sort.veritas.com/license_calc/spvu_calc )
- Product End of Life page(https://sort.veritas.com/eosl ) updated End of Limited Support to End of Standard Support based on the coming new policy
- Installation and Upgrade Checklist report(https://sort.veritas.com/checklist/install ) allows to share the report by "Share this" link at the top right of the report.
Veritas InfoScale Solutions:

- Reorganized the InfoScale Future Plans Table (https://sort.veritas.com/sfhafutureplans )
- SORT License Deployment Reports are improved for usability and offers tips to understand the report easier.
NetBackup Solutions:
- Installation & Upgrade (I&U) Checklist and data collectors/Installation & Upgrade custom reports:
- NetBackup OST Cloud vendor compatibility data now specific to platform chosen in the I&U checklist report
- Temporary disk space requirement for Windows in NetBackup upgrades
- Addition of a link to the new "What's new in NetBackup and NetBackup Appliance releases" web page in the I&U Checklist reports and Quick Links on the Backup and Recovery (NetBackup) SORT landing page.
- Support for AIX 7.2 as a NetBackup master and media server.
- NetBackup Database and Application Agent compatibility checker(https://sort.veritas.com/db_scl_checker) is available.
- Support in Installation & Upgrade (I&U) Checklist and data collectors/Installation & Upgrade custom reports will be made available nearer to the GA date of the NetBackup 8.0 and NetBackup Appliance 3.0 releases
