Unable to receive ERROR email notification configured on Infoscale for Windows for Replication

ENVIRONMENT

Windows OS = 2012 R2

Infoscale = 7.4 

QUERY

Infoscale for windows is implemented and working fine. We configured replication between two nodes which is working fine too. Recently we configured email alert on basis of Severity to "INFORMATION" and verify that we are receiving email alerts when we pause and resume the replication. Then we shifted the Severity from "INFORMATION" to "ERROR" so we can receive the email alerts on "ERROR" only. After that we disconnected the network between both replication nodes which generated ERROR in event viewer > Application logs. However we could not get the Email Alert.     Alerts are configured only for Severities > “ERROR & CRITICAL”. This time the alerts I configured thru a different way ("A rule based on the alert topic" instead of "A rule based on severity of alerts"). The said procedure is a bit lengthy because we need to select ERROR & CRITICAL severities one by one (around 50+ ERRORS and one CRITICAL severity). it seams a product bug
