In case someone is not using VIOM or VOM either for InfoScale windows or InfoScale Linux/Unix, still he needs to worry about LOG4j. I am assuming that VIOM or VOM is the only affected product by LOG4J. So incase one is not using VOIM or VOM, the environment is safe
you can run DataCollector on the systems and send the reports collected to Veritas (need to open a support case) s that Veritas can review the pacages installed on the systems and recommend the actions required to address any existing "Apache Log4j Vulnerabilities" related issue
if you are sure that VOM/VIOM is the ONLY effected Veritas products on the ststrem and it is not being used, you need to remove the package and restart the system, Leave the problematic software on the system without using it is not good enough.
