5220 appliance connection with tape library

Dear Experts

 

we have setup netbackup appliance 5220 setup with replication 

version 2.5.2 

 

we want to install a tape library of hp auto loader

HP MSL2024 1 LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 FC TP Library

i should be through Iscsi connection or Fibre direct connectivity ,though i have to do zonning

    ISCSI / SCSI is not supported

    Fibre can be used for tape only - the library can be connected via a switch and zoned or just plugged straight into the fibre ports of the appliance

    Note that if you also use FT (Fibre transport) that you cannot use the FT ports to connect the library

    Also, if zoining it via a switch it is best not to zone it to the same ports as any VMware volumes are mapped to - best to keep tape and disk on seperate ports
