can't login NetBackup Appliance

Hello,


We have Netbackup Appliance 5230 with username admin
How can we reset/recovery admin user ?!

    If you have no idea of the password i think you would need to contact support to see if it is possible to break into it.

    Being a secure unit it would not be an easy matter to do ... that being the idea of having good passwords smiley

    You could connect to the IPMI or connect a screen / keyboard to access the console just in case someone has left the console session logged in which would let you access the change password section.

    I would think Support are needed if not.... if it is possible at all
