Downloading 2.5.4 from Symantec link and it just spashes IE with garbage

when i click the download link from the symantec site to download 2.5.4    1of4   .tar it just  brings up IE   and displays garbage in the screen.  it does not allow for a save of the file.   i am using my laptop with windows 8.

any body know what causes this?

    Yes - the site is broken!! All 4 files do it using IE (I am Win 7 IE9)

    Works OK for me using Google Chrome - try that

    Firefox is fine too - obviously just an IE issue - hopefully someone from Support will spot this and have it addressed
