How to push AIX client software from Netbackup appliance 5230 Master server 2.6.1.1

    Oh, gotcha.  I think the only way is to install from the admin console and for that, you also need to (at least temporarily) allow rsh access to the client from your master.  Follow the Installing client software with the rsh method instructions in the 7.6.1 Install Guide (pages 109-110):

    (I'm ready to be corrected if there's a better way that doesn't require an .rhosts entry!)

    Hi,

     

    You'll have to install the add-on on your master. Go to https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH227005.html

     

    Click on the attachments, and get the link for the RS6000 you can add it to your master server. It will then have the binaries available to push to AIX.

    those are the instructions to install locally, I want to puch client software from nbu appliance master
