Java Console - Restrict access to Restores only for certain users

I have Netbackup Appliance running 2.7.2 as Master / Media server, NBAC is not supported for this config.

Is it possible to configure certain users to have access to the Restore option only in the Java console ?

Yes, the AUTH.CONF file on your Master controls this.

Add below lines at /usr/openv/java/auth.conf file for any particular user and it will allow user to perform restore only through java console.
domain\username ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL
* ADMIN=JBP JBP=ENDUSER
