Netbackup version = 10.5
Instances on Flex = 3 (Primary, Media and Storage)
Connectivity between NBU and client = Client and NetBackup appliance both are connected with a single switch (No Firewall in between)
ERRORS
Cannot write image to disk, media close failed with status 2060017 pdvfs_fcache_flushfile_norm_cleanup: Failed to write to spoold on storage server (broken pipe)

Is this the only backup that have this problem?
Try to close DTE and run a test backup
It disabled by default in NetBackup 10.5

DTE is something different from what you did mention above. check this out
You will find this in right upper corner of webui - setting gear...
If this is for all backups, confirm the MSDP services are running on storage, maybe have a look at spad and spool log as well.
