Proper Cold Reboot of Appliance with 3 StorageShelves

Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask for guidance on the proper way to perform a cold reboot of the appliance with three connected shelf storages. I want to ensure that there will be no data loss when performing the cold reboot.

My appliance model is 5240.

    • Shut down the appliance from the CLISH.
    • Disconnect the power cables from the appliance.
    • Power off the shelves using their two power switches (the order does not matter).
    • Wait for 1 minute.
    • Power on the shelves.
    • Reconnect the power cables to the appliance.
    • Wait for 30 seconds.
    • Power on the appliance.

    Be sure that all selves are powered before you start the appliance.

    I would add one note to the above notes 
    on CLISH>Support>Process>Netbackup stop
    to stop the Netbackup processess before you shutdown and then follow what is mentioned on above .
