Resizing the Storage unit
I Had a requirement like this.
The Advance disk storage unit size was 744GB. I had unallocated size of 500GB. I wanted to add 100GB to my existing Advance disk.
So I will have 744GB + 100GB = 844GB.
But when I resized with 100GB. The entire size became 100GB. I am not able see the other 744GB.
and also when we do resizing, what happens to the data in the storage unit.
Kindlly eloberate this. this is very critical.

The value you give in the resize command is the final value that you want it to be (so Resize TO is what it really means)
So you needed to use Resize AdvancedDisk 844 GB
The other disk will go to the unallocated pool
It all uses Veritas Volume Manager
A Manage - Storage - Show will show what you have.
Hope this helps
