Symantec appliance 5230: BOMC

Hello

  I have tow doubts about 5230 appliance (ver. 6.5):

          1) To activate de BOMC option is not neccesary a license, is it?

 

          2) Turn on the "BOMC option" cause some kind of interruption in the appliance (Stop de active policies, reboot the appliance....)

    BMR has been included free of charge since NBU 6.5. So, there is no additional license that can be bought or renewed for BMR.

    Sorry, it's a mistake.

    I meant BMR not BOMC.

    BOMC it's a IBM tool to create a update or DSA boot CD.

    Please confirm your Appliance software version? The 5230's come with 2.6.x software (equivalent of NBU 7.6).
