Did anyone have a solution?????...

  • The problem resolved ..:)

I found an error message in /tmp/pdconfigure.log says 'root authentication failed'. Since the Puredisk server was running on VM i was having a snapshot after Pdos6.5 upgrade. I went back to that snapshot and changed the root password using web interface and restarted the upgrade and it worked successfully.

    Thanks all......

  • yeah- you're going to want to call that one in.  I wouldn't take any advice "off the street" on this one- call Symantec and get them on the case.
